We used these strings of lights to decorate a couple of plants in our front yard during the holidays. They work well but note that they are not that bright. That said the solar charging panels works great and the lights stay on for most of the night if the preceeding day had bright sunlight.

These were east to put up and I attached the solar panel to a beam with a bungee cord. I wish the lights were a little brighter but they lady about 5-6 hours. We dont get as much sun in our yard so that might factor into the length.
